How to Finalize your Site and Edit a Page

Our web sites are really easy to edit by the customer, it takes 5 minutes to learn how to update, modify and change or add a page on your site. Ethiopian Web Design uses a premium wordpress frame and theme that allows our customers to manage their site easily without having to pay for further developers.

When you login the first to your site, the login will be provided by us, you will need to change your email and password.

Login to the site dashboard and start by going to Settings >> General, there you have your site name and email, change the email and you should receive a confirmation from your email, you need to click on the link to activate your site with your new email.

Click save. Now still on the dashboard click users, there should be only one, Admin,and that is you, click on the admin and check the email, you may need to change it again and then down setup a new password, twice, save it. Your site dashboard reloads and you need to login with your new password.

You done, the site is now yours.

Now if you need to edit a page, first make sure that you login to the site dashboard, then go back to the home page, the index of your main site. If it is a page you need to edit, click on it on the menu, now on top there is the option, “Enable Visual Builder” click on it. Your site will take a second for this to process.

Now where you want to edit, go near to place and place your mouse near to it, there will be a little option with a gear, click on the gear, this will now open a pop-up with the text that you can edit.

What is the Process we follow on working and completing your site?

What kind of site? eCommerce? or just 5-6 pages?
for a 5 -6 pages we charge 5000 birr and we take 10 days to finish if you send us photos for your site and text.
for eCommerce site we charge 9000 birr and we take 15 days to complete it if you send us photos and text and continuous feedback on our progress.

For hosting and domain we charge 2500 birr per year, but please we note this is based on today exchange rate, the real price is in USD$74 a year. Hosted at first class servers with Hosting Marketers, Inc. company, which are our main partners.

We will work for 1 month after complete the site and give you videos on how to manage and make updates. we use wordpress as the main frame.

Our process is as this.

1. you explain exactly what site you want. We may have to call you.
2. We work on 2 options for your site
3. You choose which option you want
4. We need your photos and text for the site
5. We start developing your site and we update you every 2 day and you need to give us feedback.
6. Normally a 6 page site we can complete it in 10 days.
7. after the site is complete, we ask you to register with us and open an account, at this time you need to decide the domain.
8. we will send you an invoice from our company, the company invoice will be Hosting Marketers, Inc. New York
9. you pay the invoice, payment to be done through Dashen Bank.
10. payment confirmed and pdf file is send to your email
11. account is activated, domain and hosting is active and web site is moved to your account
12. we will send you a video or videos explaining step by step on how to edit and update your site
13. We will be available for small edits during the first 30 days.

Payment for Web Design Only

Initially you pay us through Dashen Bank 20% of the amount and when it is complete you will pay the rest.
